TIMING LAB

Consistency matters more than one fast opening-time click

A negative result means you clicked before the target; a positive result means you clicked after it. Five recent attempts within a narrow range reveal more about your preparation than a single 0ms result.

1

A negative result, such as −120ms

You clicked before the target time. On a ticketing service that rejects early requests, the booking button may not be active yet.

2

A positive result, such as +120ms

You clicked after the target time. If your results stay positive, start tracking the clock or moving your finger slightly earlier.

3

Recent average error

A lower average absolute error and a smaller spread between attempts mean your clicking rhythm is becoming more consistent.

2 MINUTE ROUTINE

Repeat five attempts without changing your setup

Match the mouse position, hand posture and screen size you will use during the real sale, then run five attempts in a row. If you change your posture every time, you cannot tell which adjustment improved the result.

Is 0ms always the best result?

It is exact within this practice screen, but real ticketing services differ in network delay and button activation. Aim to repeat small errors consistently instead of relying on one 0ms result.

The milliseconds keep moving and make it hard to focus.

The clock uses fixed-width digits. Practice splitting your attention between the rhythm of the changing seconds and the target button, rather than following every digit.
